Finding 10 motivated PhD candidates to fill our positions.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the recruitment campaign for the 10 PhD positions within the MIRACLE Doctoral Network. The campaign sought highly motivated early-stage researchers ready to embark on a journey at the forefront of leukemia research.

Over the recruitment period, we shared the vacancies through major academic job portals, including EURAXESS, Nature Career, and were guided by the Amsterdam UMC HR Department. We are grateful for the support by our partners who helped disseminate the opportunities through their networks. Thanks to this collaborative effort, the call reached a wide audience and attracted a strong international pool of applicants.

The selected PhD candidates will join a cutting-edge research and training programme across academic and non-academic institutions in top 7 European countries. Through ten diverse and complementary research projects, the doctoral researchers will explore MRD using advanced technologies such as single-cell omics, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, organ-on-chip systems, and immunotherapy development.

MIRACLE is more than just a research network — it is a multidisciplinary and intersectoral programme designed to educate the next generation of creative, entrepreneurial scientists who will bridge the gap between discovery and clinical application.

We are excited to welcome our new doctoral candidates as they begin their research journey and contribute to the development of transformative strategies to improve outcomes for leukemia patients.
