More about the MIRACLE Network Meeting and EHA2026 participation.
In June, the MIRACLE-Leukemia network came together in Stockholm, Sweden, for several intense days of scientific exchange, collaboration and engagement with the wider hematology community. Our Network Meeting on 9 June was followed by participation in the Annual Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA2026), held from 10–14 June 2026.
Sharing Progress and Looking Ahead
Our annual Network Meeting provided an important opportunity to learn about the progress of the 10 Doctoral Candidates in their work, we also discussed the development of the individual research projects and together look ahead to the next phase of the programme.
Connecting with the International Hematology Community at EHA2026
Following the Network Meeting, the MIRACLE Doctoral Candidates joined the international hematology community at annual congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA2026) in Stockholm. EHA provided full congress registrations for all MIRACLE DCs, enabling them to participate in the scientific programme, learn about the latest developments in hematology and connect with researchers and clinicians from across Europe and beyond.
MIRACLE was also represented at the EHA Collaboration Plaza, where we had a dedicated booth. Throughout the congress, the MIRACLE booth provided a meeting point to introduce MIRACLE and its research objectives, raise awareness of our project and connect with congress participants and other collaborative initiatives.

Two MIRACLE Doctoral Candidates, Alyssa Rodrigues Alvaro (Charles University) and Nurbanu Erölmez (Mimetas), presented posters at EHA2026. Presenting their MIRACLE work at one of the largest international hematology congresses provided an excellent opportunity to discuss their research with researchers and clinicians, receive new perspectives and build connections within the wider scientific community.

Advancing Research and Building the Next Generation
Uniting in person in Stockholm offered our DCs a valuable combination of internal scientific exchange, training and international exposure. It also reflected important objectives of MIRACLE: advance research into measurable residual disease in leukemia, and train a new generation of researchers who can work collaboratively across disciplines and contribute actively to the European hematology community.
